A Little about me
I grew up in a small town scene in Southeastern Oklahoma and spent the majority of my life on a cattle ranch. When I was 10 years old, we moved about 45 minutes away to our little town of Atoka. Fast forward 10 more years... I, a small town country girl with a lot of love for Jesus, moved to the Big Apple for a year as a missionary and student at the New York City Dream Center. There, I met the love of my life. (He just so happened to be a Georgia boy. What are the odds?) After serving in NYC together, we both moved back to our homes (miles and states apart). Fast forward through a LOT of trips in between Georgia and Oklahoma - we were married in October of 2020! Then, we moved all of my belongings to Augusta, GA and the rest is history! We are so excited to be building a life here together with the best community.
I have been a photographer for a little over twelve years now, and have been learning a LOT along the way. I had the pleasure of being mentored by one of my dear friends in SEOK since girlhood and have my certification of business photography in my back pocket. I think my favorite part of being a photographer is getting to build relationships with others and taking time to pause and learn their unique stories.
I have dreamed BIG dreams since I first picked up a camera at 7 years old. I have always wanted my work to make an impact, but even more than that I have had a desire to build community and share the love of Jesus with those around me - which gives me a great segway! - Coincidentally, I was seven years old when I found my salvation in Jesus Christ. (7 was a big year for me! : ) At this point, you might be asking, "What's your salvation got to do with this photography website?"... I am so glad you asked! God is and always will be at the forefront of every endeavor of ours and hopefully what you see on my website portfolio is a gift that He has given in action. I hope you can feel the atmosphere of warmth and true joy that has been experienced with each photo you come across here. He is the reason this dream of mine has become a reality when it comes to serving my community. I can't help but bring Him into absolutely everything and since you are here I wanted to let you know that He is alive and loves you more than you can imagine.
My hope as a photographer in this day and age is to disrupt the current climate in this industry by creating an atmosphere of joy and peace, and ultimately to give where nothing is expected in return. More on that in late 2027.
I am happy to have you here and share just a snippet of things with you! Let's talk soon!
